Casuarina glauca(C. glauca) Frankia sp. strain CcI33 was used to nodulate C. glauca. CcI3 were cultivated in liquid BAP medium4, modified and supplemented with sodium propionate (1 M) and NH4Cl (1 M) as carbon and nitrogen sources, respectively. DNA was collected from young leaves sampled on one month old seedlings using a CTAB based method.We sequenced the genome to a depth of approximately 887X. The assembled scaffolds of high quality sequences total 280MB, with the contig and scaffold N50 values of 41kb and 912kb respectively. We identified 26,282 protein-coding genes with a mean length of 1.317kb.
